Majolica Plate Birds & Grapes Motif Made by Zell in Germany a: 1920's

This is really a sweet plate. Later in the 1900's when "Made In" was added to export requirements, this has a bright glaze and is pristine. The marks on the back are saggar pin marks from the kiln process. The blue is soft and lovely and the border is lovely. The design is relief (raised). 7.75". Feel free to ask questions.
