This handle was made by Corningware and is the one that is used on most Corning Ware. It was made to accommodate the heavier pieces such as sauce makers, buffet servers and the older P-style casserole dishes. The handle is made of black hard plastic with a shiny steel section that fits over the tab handle on the pan. The end of the handle turns to lock the handle down for a secure fit. This model was not made with a hole for a hanging ring on the end.
PLEASE NOTE: I do have this same handle available with the hanging ring on the end. Just search "corning handle" in the search box and you will find it.
This handle does not fit the A-style Corning Ware pieces. Please check on the bottom or under the handle on your pan and see if you have a model number beginning with "A".
Handle is marked "Corning Ware" with "Pat. No. 2,851,299 3,065,016". Measures 7-1/2" long. This handle was made from 1958 until 1974.
Excellent, perfectly clean condition! Just a little light scuffing here and there, very minor. NOTE: bright white spots are just from the lighting.
