Antique EAPG Glass Goblet MIOTON Pattern
Mioton is one of the plainer, fluted Early American Pattern Glass patterns. This crystal goblet has the fluted panels on the bottom half of the bowl with a large smooth section slightly outside at the top. It reminds me a little of a sundae or soda cup. The stem has a pronounced ring at the mid point.
I could not find the year this goblet was produced or who produced it in any of my references, only a picture of the goblet and the pattern name.
Measurements: 5-5/8" tall; 2-7/8" wide across the top; 2-11/16" wide base.
Excellent condition with the exception of one tiny nip on the seam between the fluted section and the smooth section above it, not detracting and not noticed unless examining; there are also a couple of spots of seam roughness in the same area. Glass is clean and clear with no cloudiness.
