Vintage Art Deco/Edwardian 18k Gold .58 Carat OEC Diamond Ring. As close to flawless as one can get, this diamond solitaire ring is simply stunning! The ring sits high at 3/8 of an inch which leads me to believe that it dates to before 1920. The 18 karat white gold mounting features openwork foliate scrolls and the diamond is bezel set with millegrain beading. The fiery old European cut diamond is exceptionally clean and "faces up" colorless. In very good to excellent condition, with minor softening of the chevron side decorations of the mounting. A delicate and feminine, yet forthright ring that sits prominently on the hand. This delightful ring refuses to go unnoticed.
