This is an exceptionally beautiful set of Hand- Painted British landscaped cabinet plates from the Mintons factory Circa 1860.
It is quite rare to have one but All Six!, All in Mint Condition...they have come to us from a fine British Estate collection, along with a Letter of Provenance.
Each Antique plate has been expertly Hand -Painted by the famous Mintons artist Henry Mitchell. They display beautifully with fluted gilt edges that have been draped with marvelously hand painted blue ribbons that have been classically adorned with large gilt medallions and glorious cabbage roses. This spectacular display surrounds superb medallions of hand-painted landscapes , each one different...all encircled within a wide Greek key patterned gilded cartouche....Exquisite!
Provenance: Gift from the Prince of Wales, King Edward VII, to Warrant Officer Jack Fraser, of the Irish Guards Regiment. A letter from the estate will accompany the sale of this exquisite set.
Condition : Mint no repairs , chips or breaks.
