It is the ultimate, a one of a kind magnificent antique lava cameo brooch ...hand carved and beautifully designed by a master jeweler.

This stunning example of his work is from the 1960s. The elegant brooch is made of solid 18k yellow gold which has been set in a wide oval band of yellow gold that holds and protects the large putty colored Antique Italian Hand Carved 3 strata Lava Cameo bust. The brooch is further embellished with a twisted rope band of 18k yellow gold and 14 matched creamy white round pearls that have been set to the oval brooch with yellow gold studs, (please view images)

The Antique Cameo is in very, very fine antique condition with no breaks, losses, cracks or chips. It is hard with no wear and beautifully hand carved in high relief. It measures 1 4/16" in length x 1" in width.

The Value of a Superior Cameo is always dependent on the quality of the carving of the stone as well as the condition...no cameo should be soft or worn as it has no value!

The brooch is fully marked with(S) signature,(makers mark)and 18K gold mark on the back of the brooch.
