20” Tete Jumeau in ORIGINAL BOX - Marked Head, Body, Shoes

What a great doll! She is a fully marked Tete Jumeau in her original Jumeau box. She has fabulous perfect bisque, and her marked body is in great original condition. She is fully dressed and she retains her original shoes and socks, original wig and pate, and her original wooden box. Layaway is always an option. Please contact me to discuss terms. Here are all the details:

Head: Her fabulous bisque head has no cracks, chips, or hairlines. She has pale bisque with very softly colored cheeks. Her painting is very fine with long narrow arched brows, long lashes, and gorgeous lips – beautifully outlined, delicately shaded inside, and with a narrow white space between her lips. She is so gorgeous! She has brown paperweight eyes that match her eyebrows perfectly. She is marked with the red Tete stamp. Her original human hair wig is marked inside with her size number – 9. It is in very good condition. Signs of wear: a slight nick at one earring hole – that's it! Factory Imperfections: None!

Body: Her original body is marked on the rear with the Jumeau sticker. This body is in excellent condition with no repairs or repainting, and just minimal expected age wear.

Clothes: She is wearing a nice brown taffeta dress with much gorgeous antique lace and a pale blue lace-covered panel in front. Underneath, she wears an antique chemise, a nice half-slip with pale blue ribbon insertion, and cotton pantaloons. Everything is in very good condition. Her original knit stockings are mostly cream-colored now, but at one time they were blue. Her original shoes are marked, Bebe Jumeau depose 9. Finally she wears a wonderful old brown straw hat, decorated with cream and pale blue flowers. The back is flipped up and has a big ribbon bow (blue faded to cream).

Box: She comes in the bottom of her original Jumeau box. It is the earlier tete box with the wooden sides. The box is marked Bebe Jumeau / 9, and has her hair color – Tosca. The box style and her shoe marking date this doll to before 1892.

Domestic Buyers: This doll will be mailed by Registered Mail, which is not offered in the Ruby Lane postage calculator. It is very secure and probably a less expensive shipping option. It is also the only option that will cover more than $5000 of insurance.

International Buyers: My dolls are available for worldwide shipping. Insurance options vary by country of destination, so please contact me to discuss shipping and insurance options to your country.
