19" High Brow China ~ Original Body, Layers of Antique Clothes

This is a pretty 1860's china lady with a perfect shoulderhead. She retains her original body and she is wearing layers of antique/original clothing. I love her antique red leather shoes with heels – just wonderful! Here are the details:

Head: Her glazed porcelain shoulderhead is perfect with no cracks, chips, or hairlines. The only factory imperfection is a single speckle on her forehead. The only sign of wear is some rubbing on her curls. She has beautiful painting with fine details – highlight dots in her eyes, circles outlining her nostrils, and turned up lip corners. She has long sloping shoulders and three sew holes in front and back.

Body: Her antique cloth body appears to be original. Her original leather arms have been recovered in antique leather, otherwise, there is no damage or repair to the body. It is firmly stuffed. Her original leather hands are still visible peeking out at the end of her long sleeves. She has a narrow rhinestone bracelet that is not seen in my photos. I do not want to remove her shoes, so I have rolled down her two pair of stockings to show her legs.

Clothes: She is fully dressed in layers of antique clothing that could be original (10 pieces). Her dress ends at mid-calf with a ruffle, and closes in back with numerous buttons. Her matching underskirt is full length and closes with a single button. There is a silk green striped sash with three balls trimming the ends. Underneath, she wears a three-piece matching set of cotton unders – a long half-slip, a short half-slip, and bloomers. She also wears two knit camisoles which are very simply made (one pictured), and two pair of black stockings – one knee-high and one full length to the top of her thighs. Finally, she has ancient red leather shoes, with scalloped edges and wooden heels. They are well worn, but that is a large part of their charm. Her unders are in excellent aged condition. The two-piece dress has a stain on the bodice and a hole on the underskirt. I have not tried to remove the stain.
