9" Bisque Girl with Molded Hair and Original Body
Head: Her bisque shoulderhead is perfect with no cracks, chips, or hairlines. Her features are well painted and her expression is so sad and sweet. She is marked on her rear shoulderplate: 43 – 4? (the second number is illegible). There is a short surface firing line on the edge of her shoulderplate, and there is nothing else to report.
Body: Her original cloth body has bisque arms and legs with molded boots. Her clothes are sewn-on, so I cannot photograph her body. It feels very sturdy and there is no leaking. Her bisque arms are perfect and one boot has a re-glued toe.
Clothes: There is a note pinned to her slip that states these are her original clothes, and some of them could be hers. Her clothes do have age (and age related wear) but some pieces may have been added long ago. She wears a long satin jacket over her blue lace-trimmed skirt. Actually the front of the skirt is blue, while the back is a stiff netting material. Underneath, she wears a chemise, half-slip, and bloomers. The satin jacket (overdress) has melting on the front. Everything else is in excellent condition.
