Kutani Scenic Porcelain Vegetable Bowl c.1960
An oval Japanese Kutani serving bowl decorated with a lovely design. There is a country village showing a pagoda, mountain with snow, trees, and snow is seen in the foreground. It has golden accents. The bowl has handles for easy handling which have a scroll design.

It has the Kutani mark in red on the underside. The mark is "Kutani" in Japanese characters and was used in the 1960's or possibly the 1950's. The making of Kutani porcelain wares can be traced all the way back to the year 1655 and is still made today.
It measures 10 1/4 inches long by 7 1/4 inches wide and stands 2 3/8 inches high. The condition is still very good with only the most subtle signs of use. No chips or cracks at all.
