Huge Collection of English Pub Sign Archive

An extensive archive of early English Pub Signs from a U.S. Military Officer named Robert C.Strange who while stationed in England lived at Little Corner 52 York Road Bury St. Edmunds Suffolk during the 1960's. Robert took upon himself to have a deep interest in English Pub & Brewery History from the United Kingdom while living there. He collected books, rare photos, literature, documents and anything connected with Breweries and country side Pubs.He wrote letters to English Brewery Executives and received a wealth of information in return. Enough here to write a book on Pubs & Brewery companies. In return they were gracious to respond with photographs, detailed historical information and books. Which would be impossible to obtain such professionalism & material today. This is the Mother Ship of English Pub History. There is so much material here it is impossible to picture everything. Before I forget there is also a 1740's English Pewter Pub Stein Mug and Serving plate. A collection that will never disappoint you.
