Wonderful Kentucky Child's Quilt Dated & Signed August 10 1928

A superb and oh so charming child's quilt from a rural Kentucky mountain family. Made for "Douglas Marion Osborn" from Grandma Osborn dated August 10th 1928.

Grandma has added endearing animals and Chinese caricatures to make a mini masterpiece of American Folk Art.

The 40" x 60 inch quilt is in fine shape with the exception of the black material used to create the animals needing restoration. From what I understand is common for this color and material.

It is such a beauty that any minor defects are trivial. Nearly impossible to find these type of masterpieces signed and intact.
