1938 Mount Saint Helens Snow, Cars & Avalanche

Original 1938 11 X 14" Photograph showing two cars trapped by an avalanche of snow on Mount St. Helens. The old Snow Crane & Plow is doing it's best to free the drivers from the impending premature burial. This photograph recently came from an old western photographers collection that begun in the 1920's. My guess after the St. Helens blew it's lid in May of 1980 this road is now bye-bye.
