Without question one of the most bizarre photo albums I have come across in my all my years of collecting. The 1890's album contains 44 of the strangest photos I have seen in one grouping. It appears that a group of wild & crazy guys decided to take a camping trip heavily armed and heavily intoxicated. There is rarely a photograph where one if not all of them or pointing their Winchester rifles, pistols and weapons at each other at something, someone or each other. In fact they take several fishing trips without poles, flies or bait but only rifles. In another twisted scene they are aiming their guns at a gentleman digging his own grave, and other off-the-wall antics in a tight fitting tent while wearing their long johns doing some Jane Fonda exercises or other?. There is a photograph of them performing surgery on some poor sap in the middle of a pasture and another photo of an elderly man holding a gigantic rattlesnake while other men pose above the cave that the snake and old man crawled out. In several of the photographs there are young men wearing Athletic uniforms with the initials of C X C embroidered on the chest with striped sleeves. And these same fellows are seen rolling large beer kegs through the woods doubtfully preparing themselves for the next round of mischief and mayhem. I really wish I could have provided more or all the photos in this album for your viewing but was stuck with the allotted 9 images per listing. If any of you have ever seen the movie Hangover this best defines this album and camping trip.
