1840's Ladies Cotton Southern Plantation Owners Dress

A remarkable original c.1840's Southern Plantation Dress. The waist of this dress is 25' 1/2 inches and it has a soft baby blue scroll design on old world tightly hand sewn cotton.

Likely made by slaves.

There is some damage to skirt but nothing that takes away from it's rarity and beauty.
