Daytona Beach,Florida Albumen Photo of African-American School Prof. Howard

Scarce Albumen Photograph showing an all-black African-American School in Daytona Beach, Florida during the very early 20th century, Interesting to note the bucket lunch pails lining the open windows. The children are dressed in mostly white cotton shirts with the teachers and principal shown on the back row.

On the bottom right hand corner the name of the above mentioned school Principal is inscribed. I believe the name is Professor R.H.Howard?

Condition Report: Photo mount missing sections but image itself remains intact and clear. Image found buried in rafters of Sanford, Florida house; Measures 10' x 11 inches.
