Not certain why Eddie Waitkus is in the book but this was published right after the 1950 World Series between the Phillies and Yankees.

Interesting to note that there are several pages showing kids how to doctor bats to make the ball go further.

Today's Big Leaguer's could tell kids how to mask a urine test for steroid use.
