St. Augustine,Florida Painting Fort Castillo de Marcos Painting by Emmett Fritz

For your consideration we are honored to offer a small collection of original Emmett Fritz Paintings. This particular painting as well as the others listed, come from a local St.Augustine lady whose mother dated Emmett Fritz for a number of years. The painting offered here is of Fort Castillo de San Marcos; ( Fort Marion) here in St. Augustine and is oil or acrylic on artist board in Fritz's original frame. The painting without the frame roughly measures 16" x 20 inches. It is interesting to note that the family indicated this was Emmett's first painting after a long battle in regaining his eye sight. There is wealth of information on the late Emmett Fritz on the net so I will not indulge you with my knowledge of this highly popular and collected artist.
