Old School Watchmaker Archive of Pocket Wrist Watch Parts

A massive collection of fine wrist watch parts from one old school watchmaker that consists of hundreds and hundreds of intricate parts. This box was stored away in the early 1980's when he retired and has not seen the light of day since Big Hair Rock groups were vogue. By looking at several of these parts I would assume some of them are some grade of gold. Most if not all are still in their original filing and manufacture envelopes. It would be a fair observation that this old world watchmaker likely spent hundreds of dollars on these parts over the course of time.

Some of the parts are Gruen,Wittnauer,Seiko and other obsolete makers. Some of the envelopes are marked from the early 1960's. Certainly a small fortune in parts was spent by this watchmaker.

There is enough here to keep you intrigued for a possible career as a watchmaker.
