Oil on canvas of a beautiful young Cambodian Girl signed P.Weidul and dated 1964. This painting actually came from a former C.I.A. Officer who worked among many other
locations in Vietnam and Cambodia during this highly volatile region in history. This is a well executed painting from a talented if not trained artist. The painting is on canvas and attached to a art board and framed by Royal Studio in New Delhi,India. It is my assumption that this painting was rolled up and taken with this gentleman and finally framed in India a few weeks or months later.
In conclusion a delightful portrait with a great deal of warmth.
Painting is 15" inches wide by 20" tall. Frame is 21" x 24" inches.
