Pre-Historic Ancient Ax Head Found in Florida

This is an ancient primitive ax head that was found in the 1930's by a gentleman while the company he was working for was digging deep pits to remove coquina in Deland,Florida. He kept it along with mastodon bones and other fossils that he sold me several years ago. The ax head measures 4" 1/2 inches long by 3" inches high.
