RARE 1867 Document San Francisco Mint Lease Agreement

Rare & important court document between Lorenzo Seagrave and other business partners who have leased their property to the U.S. government that became the San Francisco mint. The government decided that it made more sense to mint all the California gold there instead of hauling it east as bullion.

This extensive document details the historic transaction. Dated September 9th 1867. Multiple pages in fine condition.
