Lady in the Mirror

Compelling original photograph of a lady offering her inner affection for Mozart through the reflection of the mirror. This image was taken in the year 1901 on September the 5th at the Buffalo Pan American Exposition. The same day President William McKinley was shot.

She wears a mourning ribbon on her elaborate dress and has sad dark circles around her large beautiful eyes. She appears to have just managed to compose herself from crying to take the portrait.

Beautifully composed masterpiece of early 20th century photography.

Image measures 4" x 4 inches.
