George Curry Governor New Mexico Territory Signed Documents
Fine lot of two signed New Mexico Territory documents by Governor George Curry. One being a large superb 1907 appointment for L.B.Prince as a delegate for the New Mexico Territory and the other being a signed cancelled check from 1912.
Curry was a U.S.military officer and politician. During the Spanish American War he served in Theodore's Roosevelt's Rough Riders. He did not see action in Cuba,but did participate in the fighting in the Philippines.
