Knife Fork Plastic handle Washington Forge set
Here is a box set of a serving 2 tine fork and large cutting knife from Mirilium Stainless Washington Forge. The soft yellow handled knife has a yellow metal shank with a finger hook next to the stainless steel blade. The handle is light weight and looks like Bakelite. I tested it with the 409 test and found it negative but others have labeled it as Bakelite. The knife is 12 ½ inches long. The large fork is 10 inches long and has the same shank and yellow colored handle. The stainless portion has an indented grooved portion ½ inch down from the shank. The mottled white gold designed box has an LH insignia and slots to place the silver ware in to. One side has lost its brad hinge and someone has attempted to repair it with staples which has not worked.
