Treasure Island Folger 1971 Coffee book

Here is another children’s book used by Folger’s coffee as a promotion. The wonderful timeless story of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson is a book everyone should remember. With pirates, parrots and a young boy pictured on the cover this book invites you in. The book with a copyright date of 1971 was published by Western Publishing Company,INC and is a Whitman Book. The cover has a round disk on it advertising “Free when you buy one 2 lb can of Folger’s coffee”. There were several in this series. The cover of this book has pictures in color of characters from the fairy tales inside. It is illustrated with brown line drawings by David Stone. This book has an intact binding that feels like the book has not been opened a lot. The cover of the almost 8 inch by 5 inch book has very slight wear on the upper two corners and some flecks off the black cover. The back cover has slight color loss at the top of the binding and a very tiny bit of color loss on the cover in a few places. This book is full of excitement in its 212 pages. Purchase more than one Folger book and get a reduced shipping rate. This unabridged book would be a great addition to any library.
