19th Century Apothecary 20 Drawer Seed or Herb Cabinet

This vintage 20 drawer apothecary cabinet was once used to store herbs and seeds. It was beautifully hand-painted in the much loved color blue-gray and has a beautiful smooth finish. On each side end is a decorative applied wood leaf scroll design. The cabinet measures 18 inches long by 16 inches tall by 5 ½ inches deep. Each drawer measures 3 ¾ inches wide by 5 inches deep by 1 7/8 inches high, are solidly constructed and freely slide. Each drawer in the bottom row has two compartments. Pulls on drawers are screw-in and do not show on back panels of drawers. They are metal. I believe the wood is pine. The piece came out of an upstate New York 19th century home. I believe it was restored at some point. We purchased it as is. It's a nice piece, clean and usable. Sales tax must be collected for buyers living in or picking up in New York State or Massachusetts.
