There is nothing more elegant and feminine than a strand of pearls. This strand has a lovely warm 'pearlized' glow, each pearl is 5mm and the strand is hand knotted. I've measured the length as approximately 16 inches.

On an 'elderly' neck such as mine 16" is a choker but on a younger, slimmer neck I think this strand would just skim the 'adams apple' area, which is probably the most popular length for today's young woman. This strand would be perfect for your granddaughter...or for you if you happen to be younger than I am...
