Tintype~Lovely Lady Beautiful Dress~Circa 1870's

I can still see traces of gilt paint that the photographer must have put on this photo. It appears as earrings and a necklace. This lady's dress has a very tight bodice and a semi full, draped skirt with an under skirt peeking out in front. The fabric has a sheen to it and could possibly be silk.

I estimate this photo to be from the early to mid 1870's because of the style of the dress and the hair.

Approximately 2.5"x3.5" (1/6 plate) with surface scuffing.
