Rosenthal 1940's Cobalt Blue & Gold Goose Scene Square Porcelain Plate

It measures 7 5/16" across and 1 1/4" high. It's also a solid piece, weighing just over one pound.

The plate has been decorated with a gold flying goose and marsh scene against a very dark, high gloss cobalt blue background. The outside edge has also been accented with gold.

The condition is very nice, being free of damage or crazing. Just faint usage marks are present on the blue background, but it is only visible when the plate is held at an angle under very bright light. The gold is excellent. This is a lovely, high quality piece of porcelain. There is quite a bit of camera reflection, so please disregard.
