Woven Sterling Silver and Dyed Red Bamboo Coral Pierced Earrings

I took heavier weight sterling silver and formed the skeleton, then hammered it for strength. I then took a very fine wire and weaved it back and forth in the frame to give it a lacy affect. The dangles are Dyed red bamboo coral, with the briolettes being wrapped at the top and the smaller dangles on handmade head pins.

The earring is 2 1/2" from the top of the fish hook pierced ear wire and 1 1/4" wide. I just love the weaving with the red, it is a great look. These are very light weight and look great on.
