This is for a pair of vintage handheld flags.
The American flag is on a wood pole with a gold finial. It is 7" by 10" made of stenciled heavy cotton with 50 stars and 13 stripes. The stick has a pointed end, it was probably used for sticking in the ground. It does show some yellowing from age with rusted staples, but otherwise in very good shape this flag flew from 1960 to 2007.
The Indiana state flag is made of silk with a zigzag edge or pinked with the pinking shears. The state emblem is gold stenciling on purple silk. It is 8" by 12" tied with black string to a silver heavy metal pole with a round finial on the top of the pole. The bottom strings are loose, and there is a small tear where it was attached. The flag overall is in very good shape. A fun collectable.
