The silk scarf has been hand printed with a traditional looking design in the bold colors of red, green, blue and yellow. There are several places on the scarf where the color is missing. The design didn't have enough ink to completely cover the scarf and you get some white spots showing through. I think this scarf is from the 50's era. Hermes used these colors in the 50's on several of his scarves and this scarf was found with a collection of scarves from the 50's and 60's era. This scarf is not signed or tagged but in the 50's tags were not required and there are lots of scarves out there made by famous designers being lost because of they were not marked. This scarf has color and quality of silk matching the best designers.
The scarf is 22" with hand rolled and hemmed edge. The hem is plump and nicely rolled with even stitching.
