Gorgeous Antique Silver Thimble with Carnelian Stone Top - "Minne"
From the late 1800s, this delightful silver thimble has a carnelian stone top, and a fabulous band showing a fancy scroll work of flowers and leaves. In the cartouche in the center of this band is inscribed the lovely name “Minne” in hand-engraved script.

It's marked with the tiny Three-Crowns mark of Sweden, as well as the size number 5, both located just below the cartouche. It's in very good condition – the stone is in great shape, without cracks or chips, and is original to this thimble. There are no holes or creases in this thimble. It is just the tiniest bit out of round, a common occurrence in vintage thimbles as some like to 'custom-fit' their thimbles.
