Old French Statue Virgin Mary Infant Jesus Our Lady Notre Dame
Lovely old statue from France, of old chalk ware, of the Virgin Mary and Infant Jesus in one of the varieties of Our Lady (Notre Dame) designs. It is 18" tall, both are crowned, lovely design, with two angels or cherubs looking up in adoration from the clouds of heaven. On the front of the base a banner has "Notre Dame de ". In good overall condition, with some paint loss from age. The crowns probably originally had a cross on top as well. Lovely statue from the late 1800's.
