Old Crowned Virgin Mary & Infant Jesus Statue Religious Figurine

Offering for sale a wonderful old statue of the Virgin Mary and Infant Jesus. This is old chalk ware, 18 & 1/2" tall, from France. Mary is standing on a cloud, holding the Infant Jesus, both of them crowned. Two lovely cherubs or angels are looking up from the cloud. This is an unusual design, we have not seen another one like it in our years of collecting. It is structurally sound, with paint loss and age wear, but still a beautiful and rare statue for your collection or altar. If you are handy with a paint brush and some craft paint, it is easy to repaint the loss areas if one desired.
