One of the prettiest rosary we ever had, with faceted beads of a very unusual iridescent glass. the beads are an oval faceted glass, with an iridescent blue to brown color, very hard to describe and even harder to photograph. They have a subtle glimmer to them reminiscent of a real gemstone, of which they are not. From a distance, they have a color in the mauve to blue range, and actually be a cased glass construction. Each bead has an aged silver tone metal small cap at the end with lovely marked sterling crucifix. The cross measures 1 & 7/8" long and the rosary is almost 24" long when laid flat doubled and is 32" around on the inside when worn. The beads are also very comfortable in the hand and have a beautiful luminous glimmer to them.
