Antique German Religious Leather Book Inlaid Mother of Pearl Ornate Metal Decorations Rare Christianity Gebelbuch

Offering for sale a beautiful antique book printed in Germany. It features a black fine leather binding, sturdy and strong, with metal clasp that works, gold gilt tipped page edges, decorative cover linings, and the front cover, Wow ! Beautiful inlaid Mother of Pearl, over which is a fabulous applied aged metal flower with blossoms and buds and a heart shaped root system. The Mother of Pearl is bordered with a brass colored metal bar, and on one end more of the decorative metal in a beautiful design. The four corners of the front also have small decorative metal touches, The exterior is in good condition, strong, mild wear on the spine and corners. The interior is also beautiful, full color of the young Jesus on a page titled Gebelbuch, which we have not been able to translate. The title page is as follows: Himmelsthan Gebet und Erbaunngsbuch fur Katholifdje Chriften (again a guess). Book published in Iserlohn Germany, 1884; we think it is a Catholic book due to the approbation page, but this is a guess. It has 560 pages plus another 31 pages in a second section. I am assuming this is a prayer book, I do see sections on Psalms, the names of Saints, Jesus, etc that I can translate. The book measures 4 & 1/2" by 3 & 1/4" and is 1 & 1/4" thick. We have not tried to clean or polish the metal decorations on the front.
