Old Reliquary St Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Saint

Lovely old ornate reliquary of brass or bronze tone metal, with ornate designs on the front framing and a beautiful back with cross, locket style. It opens to reveal the red wax seal and threads. Under the glass a label for St Margaret Mary Alacoque with decorations; and the sacred relic. This reliquary measures 1 & 5/8" tall and is in very good condition. St Margaret Mary is one of the most popular of the Catholic Saints, and she promoted the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus after his apparition to her in 1675, she was canonized in 1920. This reliquary is sacred and should be displayed with care and reverence; please do not purchase unless willing to do so. The relic is a gift included with the reliquary.
