Old Filigree Brooch Colored Stones NE New England Glass
Lovely old large brooch or pin, silver tone metal filigree with colored stones of emerald green, amethyst violet, ruby red, sapphire blue. It is signed on the back NE in an hourglass, for the New England Glass Works, which I have been told became Rice Weiner in 1938. This lovely brooch measures 2 & 7/8" long and 1 & 3/4' tall and is in good condition with mild age wear. We have not tried to polish this piece or clean it at all. The two green stones on each end appear to be set a little off center, but that may be original.
