Flowers & Butterfly Enamel On Sterling Silver Old Brooch Sash Pin P&B Paye & Baker

Very hard to find old sash pin or brooch by P & B, Paye & Baker of Attleboro Ma, in business from 1901 to 1960; this is one of their earliest pieces. This features the finest enamel work over marked sterling silver, with an outer circle of white with fabulous pink and blush roses and green leaves; truly beautiful. Mounted in the open center is the lovely butterfly also of the finest enamel. This magnificent piece measures 2 & 3/8" by 2 & 3/8" and it is in very good condition with only the slightest wear from age. On the back the markings for the company, the sterling, and the old style open fastener in good working order. The pin has a slight curve to its shape, making for a very dramatic appearance when wearing.
