Antique Table Crucifix

Lovely antique crucifix for your table or altar, of nice wood cross with wonderful metal corpus of Christ. We really love the design of this, with nice multi tone wood pedestal and metal end caps on the cross matching the figure of Christ. Metal content is unknown, it is a silver tone ranging to mild brass tone, and we have never polished or cleaned the metal. This beautiful standing crucifix measures 14 & 3/4" tall and is in good overall condition for the age, with paint and finish loss on the wood, some veneer or trim loss here and there, lower part of one of the crossbones gone, and of course the wear and age coloration of the metals. The cross itself is a tiny bit wobbly within the mounting, we think it was originally one that came apart in two places for travel, now glued together. We rarely get nice ones with the wood of this age.
