Old Miniature Painting Velvet Frame Fine Art
Offering for sale a beautiful old original painting on an ivory-like material, and signed on the left of the lovely lady. She is dressed as an elegant Southern Belle, in a beautiful ball gown with ruffles and lace, bows and fabulous hat. Notice the lovely roses on her hat and in her hands. This is framed under a bubble glass with brass rim and outer frame of dark olive green velveteen with pale green moire taffeta backing, old brass hanging hook at top. The center cameo framing is 3 & 1/2" by 2 & 7/8'; and the overall framed size is 6 & 3/4" by 5 & 7/8". it is in very good condition with minor wear on the frame; the painting probably has never been opened at all, as it would damage the framing to do so. This came from a local estate in Nashville Tennessee.
