Offering for sale a very large and rare wall sconce from Italy, Italian Florentine gold gilt on metal with prisms. This one has a lovely graceful shape, with nice leaves and five candleholders extending on elegant arms with more leaves. This great piece measures 29" wide and 20" long including the lower prism. It features 36 small and 7 large brilliant glass prisms, and you can add more if you wish; these are the prisms on this when we bought it, there are 17 or more other places with punched holes if one desired to add more bling ! This piece is in very good condition and the gold is brilliant and lovely. It has the open tubes and holes in the candleholders if you wish to run wiring for electrification, very easy to do. it is very rare to find such a large sconce in such good condition, it even has the original gold tag from Italy on it !
