Nice old cruet set, consisting of the silver metal stand and six glass cruets, some with lids. Five of the cruets are original to the set, with matching finely etched designs on the top half, the lower half with deep thumbprint and facets. One cruet is of the same time period and style, but with different etchings and different glass. Of the six cruets, three have a silver colored metal tops, one has a glass stopper, one is missing a glass stopper and one is half the height of the others and has no top, we assume it had a plain lid with room for a spoon to be inserted. The tops that are present may not be original to the piece. The stand is a silver metal, either silver plate or a silver finish over pot metal. No maker marks that we can find, just the number 580 on the underside. The five cruets that are original to the set are very fine glass. the height of the stand including the top handle is 17 & 1/2" tall and the tallest cruet measured alone is 8" tall. Bargain price on this one; the five matching cruets worth more than we are asking for the entire piece. Overall good condition, cruets have no cracks but minor chips under the metal lids, and of course aging and tarnish on the holder.
