Old Ornate English Brass Desk Accessory
Lovely old English ornate brass desk or dresser accessory, we are a little puzzled as to the purpose of this piece, it matches a pencil holder we also have for sale, this one is shorter and has a felt lining on the inside around the sides and a blotter like material on the interior bottom. Lovely fluted top, ornate decorations around the sides including three oval plain cartouche, and on the bottom the RD number which can be used to date this English piece as 15. It is in very good condition. It measures 3 & 1/2" across and is 2 & 3/4" tall.
