Antique Paisley Throw Scarf Shawl Weaving Fine Textile

Lovely antique paisley from Europe, of wool and cotton, reversible, and in overall very good condition with fringe on all four sides. It measures 33" by 31" not counting the fringe. The predominant colors are black, gold, brick red, melon, off white with one side much darker than the other due to the reversible weaving process. We see a few dark spots on the dark side that are not visible on the light side; we have not had this dry cleaned as in the past most of our paisleys are bought by museums or serious collectors that like to make the decision on how to clean and preserve their items. We see no significant damage at all, mild age wear, some fringe loss on the side with the tan cotton fringe. This is a very lovely one with quite intricate designs.
