Rare Decorative Hand Mirror Carved Blue Lapis Lazuli Top

The most fabulous hand mirror we ever had in our collection. Fine gold gilt metal filigree, long handled design with beveled mirror. On the back, a wonderful cameo of blue lapis lazuli carved and polished in magnificent design including a field of roses leaves and flowers,and two cherubs, one blowing horns, the other holding what we think is a harp. The handle features several matching blue glass carved roses and a few faux pearl trims, some of the pearl beads are gone. This rare piece is 18 & 1/2" long, 6 & 1/2" wide, with the beveled mirror in good condition. Worthy of being in a museum, a treasure to become a family heirloom !
