Fahrner Original Gold Wash Sterling Marcasites Leaf Brooch Ornate Metalwork Fine Jewelry

Offering for sale a fabulous brooch of pin by Theodore Fahrner, one of the finest designers and metalwork artists of the Art Deco period. This piece is signed on the back "Original Fahrner 925", as it is sterling silver over which there is a light gold wash. The leaves are of the finest metalwork, with ornate scrolling Florentine style, and the veins of the leaves set with tiny marcasites. The pin fastener on back in good working condition and has a safety lock. This piece measures 3" long, is in very good condition, and of good weight sterling, of good substance. It is very rare to find a Fahrner piece, especially one in such good condition and with such detail. I bought this over 25 years ago from a fine antique jewelry dealer. I have not polished this for the photo.
