Jade Pear With Leaves
Lovely decorative pear with leaves of real stones, represented to us as jade by the collector from whom we acquired these in a large group of hard stone fruit and grapes. The pear certainly resembles real jade, definitely a real stone, the leaves may be a lesser quality of jade or a type of moss agate, as we see unusual variations and they are somewhat translucent. The wires on the leaves are silk thread wrapped, one leaf has lost some the thread and is on its wire but a little looser. We have never had a pear before. This piece measures 6 & 1/2" long and the actual pear is 2 & 1/2" long. In good condition with the afore mentioned wire.
